Booklovers is trademarked and has been in continuous existence since
1970. It is the policy of Single Booklovers to maintain the privacy of
every registered member. We have not and will not release or sell any of
your personal information to anyone who is not a verified member.
We
verify our members by authenticating charge card information. We verify
name, address, phone number, and e mail. We can then reasonably assure
you that members are who they say they are. Further, each application is
personally screened by Ruth Leach, owner of Single Booklovers, for
appropriate responses on each application. We do turn people down if we
feel that there are any doubts about the applicant. We have a long and,
we think, distinguished history helping individuals who meet our
criteria connect with each other.
Sadly, we realize that there
are many sites with less than reputable intentions. Your trust and
confidence are our primary concern. We will do our utmost to earn and
keep your respect.
