Interest and taste in films/favorites: I was sucked into the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies. I enjoy indy films that don't take themselves too seriously. I own the Pink Panther collection, as well as the complete BBC production (with Hugh Laurie) of Jeeves and Wooster. Reading this over, I see that I am a cinematic lightweight. I will plead that I thought Crash was a very moving movie.
Interest and taste in the arts: Eclectic. I always take in the art museums when I am in a city, and have been known to travel in order to see special exhibits.
Interest in travel/favorite places: I love to travel. My most interesting trip was to China. I love the Pacific Northwest, the Yorkshire area of England and the Scottish Highlands. Boston and Chicago tie for my favorite American cities, but then I have never been to NYC.
